Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information — written to comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Last updated 2026-08-11.

Our commitment

atomictravel.co.nz ("Atomic", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its thirteen information privacy principles (IPPs), which govern how agencies collect, store, use, disclose and give access to personal information.

What we collect

We deliberately collect as little as possible. That's limited to:

  • Information you give us — if you email us or use our contact form, we collect your name, email address and whatever you put in your message.
  • Automatically collected data — like most websites, our analytics record non-identifying technical data such as pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and the site you arrived from. This is used in aggregate to understand what's useful and to improve the site.
  • Cookies — small files stored by your browser; see our cookie policy for the detail.

We do not ask for or store financial details, identity documents, or gambling-account information — you never deposit or bet through us.

How we use it

We use the information we collect only to reply to your enquiries, to understand and improve how the site is used, to keep the site secure, and to comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use your contact details to add you to marketing lists.

Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and third-party analytics (such as a privacy-configured analytics provider) to measure traffic and improve content. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings — see our cookie policy for how, and for what each type of cookie does.

Third parties

Some data is processed by trusted third-party providers who help us run the site — for example our analytics and hosting providers. When you follow a link to a gambling operator, you leave our site and that operator's own privacy policy applies; we are not responsible for how third-party sites handle your data. Some of our third-party providers may store data outside New Zealand, in which case we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable safeguards apply, as required by the Privacy Act 2020.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request that we correct it if it's wrong. To make a request, email hello@atomictravel.co.nz and we'll respond as soon as we reasonably can. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your information or your request, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).

Retention & security

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected — enquiry emails, for example, are kept only as long as needed to deal with and follow up on your message — and we take reasonable steps to protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Privacy contact

For any privacy question or request, contact our privacy point at hello@atomictravel.co.nz.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version, with its date, always lives on this page.

Please gamble responsibly. You must be 18+ to gamble in New Zealand. Betting and casino play should be entertainment, not a way to make money. If gambling is causing harm, free confidential help is available 24/7 from the Gambling Helpline NZ on 0800 654 655 (gamblinghelpline.co.nz) and the Problem Gambling Foundation NZ (pgf.nz). Set deposit limits and use self-exclusion tools. Odds always favour the house.
